Strathmerton Engineering first opened the doors in July 2008. Originally Brian and Julie Madgwick opened the business to perform the maintenance and servicing works on their drilling equipment and fleet. 13 years on, Strathmerton Engineering has become a well-known workshop in the local area.
Expert and qualified staff have the following machinery in a modern workshop:
- 220 Ton Brake Press up to 4mts long
- 100mm Bore Lathe - up to 3mts
- 2 CNC Machining centres, with both 3 and 4 axis-
- CNC Lathe
- CNC Plasma Cutter
- 300 Ton Press
- 5 axis CNC Waterjet Cutter- cutting up to 60 degree bevel
